Good aspects for sale of home
I'm planning to put my house on the market sometime during the first two weeks of April. Are there any aspects that I should look at that would help me determine the best time to list the house and the best time to sign the sale agreement? The only thing I know is that I should avoid beginning things when the moon is void of course. I also know Mercury will be moving forward during this time,so that is not a problem. Any other helpful hints?
Happy eclipse to you!!

1. Hi ISOS
I would wait a few days until Pluto gets off of your Moon. It stops on the 30th... I'd give it a few days into April.

Good luck.

2. can't help you with the stars, but I 'Designed to Sell' my home and it sold
the first weekend it was in the paper

we only spent about $1500 (half of that was for new formica in the kitchen) getting it ready but it sold quick for our full asking price :bounce:

3. And I've heard
that making a loaf of baking bread (you can find it in the grocery freezer section) works wonders.

AzDem did a fab job of selling and getting her new home. IIRC there was a mortgage snafu. But well done!

4. Thanks for your input

Rick - thanks for the reminder about Pluto. It helped me go a little easier on myself because it means I can take more time to do the work. I had been aiming to get the house listed as early as possible, maybe even late March.
AZDem - great ideas! BTW, can I borrow your husband to help me do all the work? ;)
VSM- nice idea about baking bread. Does it work with cupcakes or similar easily made pastries? Also, what does "IIRC" stand for? There's another acronym going around the lounge that I don't know; it also starts with an I.

7. I'm sure any kind of bakery item :D
Edited on Tue Mar-20-07 12:08 PM by votesomemore
would do the trick. This was reported by a funny boss I had. They had showed the house many times, but a stroke of luck/genius gave them this idea. They didn't even have time to allow the bread dough to rise. Just tossed it in. Sold the house that day.

8. i did chocolate chip cookies from a tube
Edited on Wed Mar-21-07 12:51 PM by AZDemDist6
it gave me treats to put on the kitchen table during open house AND made the house smell great and was no fuss no muss lol

edit to add, no mortgage snufu exactly, just a slight delay in funding that worked out fine in the end

2nd edit to add the lounge IBTL means "In before the lock" usually when sex is the topic ROFL

12. I've heard the chocolate chip cookie idea before
In fact, when I was home shopping many moons ago, all the model homes had cookie smells. I'm not even sure there were actual cookies. Maybe there's a chocolate chip cookie candle :)

9. can I ask a question?
Edited on Wed Mar-21-07 02:44 PM by NJCher
Where/why are all you guys moving?

Being a cardinal sign, I don't move too often and I don't get it. It's SO MUCH WORK!!!

Cher

on edit: my neighbor is moving and I was helping her research prices. As part of the research, I learned that on a tiny two-block stretch from here, about half the houses turned over in the last three years. It's not the neighborhood, either, because it's a good neighborhood. It might be the taxes, which are very high. But it just seems like people move a lot in America.

10. Great question!
I've lived in Seattle for almost 21 years and in the same house for almost 20 years so I've been quite fixed. I have Gem sun, Libra ascendant, and Sag moon. With those signs, I should have done a whole lot more traveling and made a lot more changes in my life than I have. I'm now changing all that and trying to live up to my mutable signs.
You're right that it's a lot of work to move. Right now, I'm taking a break from working in the basement.
Where am I going? Last week, I would have said that I'm just walking off a cliff. I had a few destinations in mind but I was unsure of what to do. This past Saturday, one day before the eclipse, I decided that I'm moving to NYC. I'm originally from there and the two new careers I'm exploring have a lot of opportunities for me there.

14. I didn't know you lived here!!
I have a one family house with a garden in Ballard. I'm looking forward to downsizing to a one or two bedroom apartment. I was going to say something about the grass being greener but I don't want to think of grass or yardwork right now! ;)

16. Oh, lucky. I wish I had bought a house in Ballard way back when.
So many Seattle people here! We should have a DU Astrology forum meet up...

11. interesting question.
my partner and I are strongly considering buying an apartment -- a second home, not our primary residence -- in Paris and now I'm curious what are the "best aspects" to BUY a home are.

Any thoughts?

17. The only astro info I found
Someone who knows a lot more astrology than I ever will referred me to this article:

http://www.noeltyl.com/techniques.shtml

I couldn't use the transits identified in the article, not if I wanted to move any time in the near future, anyway. Someone may find the article helpful.

I imagine Venus or Jupiter transiting the second house would be a good aspect to sell your house or buy one.
