I had this weird dream last night
I hardly ever remember my dreams, but the past week I've had many. Last night's dream, though, wins the prize.
I was trying to get out of town because my area of the US was soon to be under water because of the polar switch (or whatever you call it when the poles move, etc.). The thing was, we weren't supposed to know. THEY (whoever they are) knew, but were just going to let us die. We had to leave covertly, pretending we were going on vacation, knowing we had to take what we wanted in our car, and could never return.
It was really sad. I knew that so many people would die. And not know. I knew because of what I saw on the Internet, and then verified with people in the know who told me.
My daughter and mother were with me, but my husband wasn't. I think he was already dead - which he isn't, by the way.
It was surreal.

The only thing I can figure is, I was reading too much on this forum. You guys!!! All this stuff!!! let's get happy, now!!!

1. This may be symbolic.
Maybe you are being sublimely warned to look for signs of future dangers in your life for your family and yourself. It doesn't have to be polar switches, but it could be something like contamination in your environment. Be aware of what is happening in your community and start turning up stones and looking under them (metaphorically speaking of course).

2. You have a point
The main thing that is happening is having even more of an impact than lead contamination, etc. We are in the middle of a boom.
We live in a county in Missouri that borders Arkansas and Oklahoma.
We got our first Wal-Mart supercenter last month. Property is going sky high - but in a very unstable way.
I'm a Realtor and there is a huge demand for property in our county, because it is near Arkansas (and Wal-Mart main offices). But our county is not prepared. We have no zoning, little infrastructure (sewage, paved streets, water and other utilities) and our schools are bursting at the seams. The old guard is dying, but going down with a vengeance. It is impossible to get a bond issue passed.
The problems we face are almost unsurmountable. And nearly unprecedented. I'm sure there are other areas of the country that have faced similar growth that we could learn from, but I'm not sure our opinion leaders would listen.

Also, I'm drowning in debt at the moment. I'm doing my best to pull myself up out of it, but it is very scary.

3. have you been reading or watching the news of flooding in California?
The pictures of houses, etc., there falling into the mud are very upsetting. Some of that imagery could have penetrated your dreams.

Otherwise, I would say there is an underlying fear of the world as you know it being desrtroyed somehow and a feeling of powerless in dealing with it. (It does sound like an overdose of newsjunkiehood!!)

4. unless of course
you are one of the ones in california.

at which point it would be just a reflection of reality.

I had a dream last summer of heavy flooding in our city and it occured shortly after that. I'd do what the first poster said and keep ready. If there's anything we should be taking with us from watching the news is this

"Shit is happening."

6. Agreed Michael. OFten dreams
are forewarning or precognitive.

It wouldn't hurt the girl from Missouri to load her car with food water and blankets for any eventuality.

I'm probably older than you-- 54 soon 55.

It is possible but not likely that we would be dealing with flooding on the level of my dream. To have that level of flooding, the gulf of Mexico would have to creep to the Missouri/Arkansas line.

In retrospect, I think my dream is more of a personal issue than a global or regional one. The "drowning in debt" scenario is more like it.

Also, I was reading Dolores Cannon's book that prophesies the polar shift.

5. Edgar Cayce predicted that
the Great Lakes would "overflow" as a result of the earth changes brought about by the shifting of axis.

Maybe your dream was a vision of things to come, in part.
