Anyone familiar with Carrie Hart, she sounds like an interesting lady? I went to her website today and have a good feeling about her. I have downloaded her free meditations, and will try them out later.

The power animal site was wonderful! I got the following, which really fits what I need right now given my current work demands:

The Tortoise

Turtle appeared to me in a very strange way at a time of extreme panic & fear - I placed sage into my shell and honored all directions sky & earth - as it burned out I could clearly see the ashes formed the shape of turtle.
So, I took out the book from the Medicine Cards to read up on it's energies..while the authors are labeled as not authentic, it gave me great solace nevertheless.

In addition to the above message the key meaning in the book is "Mother Earth" - Turtle is the oldest symbol for planet Earth. It is the personification of goddess energy, and the eternal Mother from which our lives evolve.
This is a reminder of the ally you have in Mother Earth.
