Husband had a breakthrough dream the other night; that relates to Shallah's posts..

..as well as probably relates to almost everything we have discussed about personal energy and power; LOA, etc. I'd love your imput on it!

I was prompted to post this now, even though he's not home to help me fill in the details; but I did make him write it down. He agreed that it was ok for me to share with you..

This is what he wrote (some CAREFUL paraphrasing & rewriting for clarity):

"In the dream when I looked at people I could see layers of magnetic fields. Like on a science program about the earth where they show a graphic of the Earth's magnetic fields; each person had those. Sometimes our magnetic fields get flipped and reverse their polarity. As we get older our fields get weaker, hence ageing.

I have had a hard time over the past couple of years. All my life, even though things were not that great; if I really needed or wanted something I had no problem manifesting it for myself. A few years ago I was involved in a bad car accident; and ever since then the stuff I want (intend) to happen doesn't; and vice versa, unfortunatley. I did not realize this (was a factor) until I had the dream last night. At that point I realized everyone has a magnetic field which makes it possible for us to attract and repel what we want and don't want. But sometimes our magnetic field can get flipped; usually through some traumatic event. It was last night that I realized the car accident had messed me up much more than I thought.

The last couple of years, whenever I tried to attract the job I wanted or needed, the less work I would get. I am usually really good at reading people's energy, but I have been way off several times during the last year or more. I don't know if my brain is just making excuses so that maybe I can cope with the fact that maybe I am just that big of a f---up; but the dream sure made sense.

What I saw was walking down a city street, and I could see that each person I encountered had onion layers - a magnetic field around them. I then applied what I know about magnetic fields to this - if two people walk near each other their fields will rub together creating a charge, positive or negative. Have you ever walked by someone and for no apparent reason, you bump into them or fall into them from even a couple feet away? You think you are being a klutz; but it is because your magnetic fields attracted each other. Same principle applies when you give someone a wide berth when there really is no surface reson.

The interactions of the personal fields can cause a charge which triggers an emotional response. The other person will have a positive or negative response depending on how your fields interacted.."Oh, it's ok!" vs. "Watch where you are going!"

Unlike a magnet, we can change the polarity of our field with our mood - a bad mood creating a negative charge and a good mood a positive one. Of course with our moods changing rapidly; so does our polarity; therefore maybe we don't know why we have attracted a bad experience or thing.

SO we should not concentrate on the things we want, but be mindful of our field around us. It is one thing to think about remaining positive, but more effectively we should feel positive. Of course everything should have a balance; but not to worry - there is plenty of negative out there, so you can be selfish and stay positive!"

(seriously he wrote that last paragraph almost exactly as I transcribed it. LOL!!)

This resonated with the posts Shallah just made about thought-forms in our energy fields. Is this just his personal given way of looking at clearing his field, or is there more to it?

2. he has it right

Every day of my life I am trying to figure out how to clear all this stuff out. It isn't just thought forms, it is all kinds of negative crap. There are entire fields based on correcting polarity problems of people, too.

Once after an accident that was really minor in terms of injury, (but traumatic otherwise) my daughter had major problems with a boyfriend. Coincidence? Heck no.

Energy practitioners can be invaluable in circumstances like this. Having a dream is all about RELEASING, so it is a blessing for him to have had a dream about this. An accident can cause little rips and holes in the aura, and negative stuff can just pour in.

EFT is rather helpful in getting rid of problems like this...

He said that now that he knew what the problem was, he thought he could try to correct it,but it's always good to have a guidline on how. I've already had the materials downlaoded for awhile, so I'll pass them on to him.

Dunno if we have any good energy practitioners in the area; I'm going to go do some research on that also.

4. This is pretty eye-opening

I know things have been rough for you guys, so for him to have this dream and understand it is major.

My own husband had an accident 5 years ago, fell off a ladder and broke his back. He was incredibly lucky and his back is fine now, but his temperament, attitude, have suffered. Maybe it is his magnetic field?

We live in a city that's supposed to have a magnetic field that makes it hard for folks to leave, and if they leave they often come back. I told some friends about this, and they chuckled, but in fact all of them had either come here from somewhere else or grown up here, moved away to great places like Boston or California, and then came back to raise their children. Me too.

Never underestimate the power of magnetics, I say.

How could I find out about my city's?? I think we do have something a bit wierd around here.

If we find a good solution to this problem with husband's field (EFT has been suggested and I'm going to give it a try) I'll let you know. I certainly hope that you and husband can get some relief.

18. do you have any dowsers in your area? some can sense energy as well as water & minerals

You can also experiment your self if you have a map and a pendulum. Anything can be a pendulum from a metal washer on a string to your favorite pendant. Just cleanse it using smudge, incense, or energy and ask the higher power of your choice to bless it and dedicate it to the Light first. Then ask it to show you yes, no and maybe. For me clockwise is yes, counterclockwise is no, and side to side is maybe or don't know. I tend to skew results so I am no expert on dowsing I just know it can be used to find negative leylines as well as positive and pockets of bad vibes.

Every so often I do an energy cleanse for the area I live in. Most is private property so I don't feel it helps much there but I feel that if the energy is toxic enough to bother others that permission is not needed to remove the worst of it or at least it is less after the cleansing. I use energy & intention to clear negativity and ask beings of light like Archangel Michael to remove the really bad stuff I am not equipted to deal with. I ask them to remove all the negative energy possible and if there are any harmful entities to try to show them the way back to the light. If that doesn't work to take them to a place where they can do no harm and given help if they choose to accept. If the energy in your area is really funky people tend to get stuck more often so it wouldn't hurt to check and see if calling in their guides of the light and beaming some good vibes to them via their guides can't help them so they can choose where to go next.

It jibes with what I know of auras/our magnetic fields--what I've learned over the years.

I can also say that I've observed the same "bad things" happening in reverse--a physical accident after an emotional trauma. After my father died, my mother fell in her driveway and fractured her hip. Long story, but she wasn't overly traumatized at his passing (they had been estranged for many years), and yet it affected her deeply enough that it messed with her magnetic field and she had a freak physical accident. Likewise, after my uncle died last summer (again, not traumatizing--I wasn't especially close to him), I was driving home from the grocery store, and I got into a weird accident--glanced away from the road for a second and drove up over a curb, flattening one tire and damaging another. (Luckily it didn't involve any other cars.)

I believe that as we are such sensitive beings, our balance can be upended by many emotional events. Good on your husband for recognizing this dream as significant and working on balancing his magnetic field! I hope this signifies a turnaround in your fortunes, LD! :hug:

Things have been much 'lighter' even just since he had the dream. But no major job offer yet. At this point I think the Universe is holding it for him, or holding him in wait for it.

I can believe it about the emotional trauma causing almost a ripple effect on ppl that are in proximity..either emotionally or physically. It kinda goes with the physics of it all.

...which leads met to the possible thought that some of his accidents were reactions to things that have happened, not to him; but to ppl close/around him?? Hmmmm. That may take some thinking over. Thanks!!

11. I can think of an alternate explanation here.

Maybe, in those cases you've just described (and in some other similar sorts of events) the soul of the departed was trying to contact you (your mother, whoever) and that caused the disturbance that led to the accident. I am absolutely NOT suggesting a malevolent intent on the part of the departed, but that somehow, in trying to make contact, the energy surge involved caused the fall, the crash, whatever.

Obviously, that's an unprovable hypothesis. But if we do have auras or magnetic fields (which makes sense to me) it makes sense that they can be disturbed by various things. I'd never thought about it before, but the idea that an accident of some kind can change them is a very interesting one.

I was just reading Whitley Streiber the other night and he wrote about an OBE he had where he was able to see the electromagnetic field around pine needles on a tree.

If I can find the description, I'll be back and put it on this thread.

My neighbor did this in the fall. She took her husband out to Long Island where they met with this person who does energy realignments. Amazingly, things have really worked out well for my neighbor's husband. He has gone from being severely depressed, having to spend a week in a psychiatric hospital, to being happy and fulfilled in his new job. She, too, has found a new career and is totally consumed with it. She's really happy and excited about her work.

A couple years ago she said they both needed to turn their lives around and I see now that they have done it.

I'm not attributing all of this to the energy realignment but it's the first time in several years that things have really gone right for this couple, so it makes one wonder.... :)

13. A thought that came to me about switching back polarity

If you have a pair of quartz crystals with natural terminations try holding a milky 'female' quartz in the left hand and a clear (or mostly clear, flaws and inclusions are OK) 'male' quartz in the right. Try doing a grounding visualization before taking hold of the crystals sending the root right to the center of the earth. Then breathe in energy from the crown down throughout the body until it flows down the root into the earth. *then* take the crystals and ask them to assist in balancing your energy polarity as you continue to breathe in the energy. Do this for a few minutes then sweep off your aura to clear anything that got shook loose.

16. Sweeping the Aura

Basically you just brush down the surface of the aura like you were buffing dust off a table. When I do someone else I do the outside of their aura all around. If I do myself I run the palms of my hands down the inside of my aura's egg like the mime in a box bit. Then I either clap three times to discharge and transmute the energy. I taught someone to brush her aura who would just drop the wad of negative energy on the floor! I had to lecture her about proper disposal. Oh another thing is to dust off the hands into an imaginary cauldron or other container (I like the image of bubbling crystal cauldron) to transmute the energy. Then when I want to manifest or heal something I pluck out a dollop of transmuted energy picture what I want and toss it into the air. One more - if you do Reiki try drawing CKR on the palms before sweeping. It is interesting to feel the stagnant energy breakup as my hand touches it. The sensation reminds me of the old Dawn commercial where one drop of detergent would disperse all the oily grease in a sink of water. I keep meaning to try this with an infinity symbol on my palms to see if that works as well but I always forget :P

I would recommend grounding first if the person knows how before sweeping the aura as it can make them dizzy. It need not be a long drawn out visualization, just briefly picture roots coming out the feet or out of the root chakra going to the center of the earth. Another helpful thing is to drawn in the aura as most people's energy is scattered and too far out. Don't think deeply just reach out and grab as if you were catching the edge of an fluttering bit of fabric and draw it in until around 1 1/2' to 2 1/2' out from the edge of the body. Adjust as you learn what aura dimension feels best. Don't be afraid to play making tiny gestures and finding out that small plucking movements work just as well as big gestures. Once you pull it in as far around as you comfortably can reach just run your hands, again as far as you can comfortably reach, to smooth the aura and fill in any empty or thin feeling spots. I know I tend to feel more lumpy and weak spotted in the back. Imagine your aura's boundary is like cookie dough and just smooth it around until it feels even. Then brush down the aura like you are wiping lint off clothing. After if you like reinforce the aura's natural boundary by placing your palms against the edge (or where you think it is, it still works for me even when I don't feel it) and send energy into it with the intention to repel unhealthy vibes while letting positive energies pass freely. I add in Reiki symbols but I bet infinity symbols or any symbols sacred to the user would work wonderfully at amplifying this effect. I have treated my Mother's aura before she went to bingo and a woman who normally walks into people making them jump out of her way walked wide around her, in fact stopped and let Mom pass which shocked my Mom. I had set her aura wider than normal wanting to give her a wide personal space to repel the bad vibes of certain bingo goers who rag anyone who wins who isn't in their little group of friends. hm. I never thought of it but I will try this vehicles and see if it makes bad divers avoid us!!!

I used to get it once in a while on the rec. of the accuputurist I was seeing. She and Polarity Therapist would swap treatments which is how she knew to suggest a good one. Hopefully if this resonates you can find a practioner in your area with the right stuff too!
