Can I vent?

I've been trying for FOUR MONTHS to talk to my bank about my mortgage, trying to forestall a problem - but they weren't interested in helping me because I wasn't delinquent on my payments, just trying to set things up so I WOULDN'T be delinquent.

Now in desperation I am threatening to BECOME delinquent just so someone will talk to me, and all of a sudden the bank has lists and lists of things that I SHOULD have been doing the past four months (things that they should have told me but didn't).

GAAAAAH!
