The big picture of Karma

I was watching "Numbers" last night and a comment that was made spurred me to write this down. (I love the show Numbers)


According to Universal Laws as we know them:

Universe expanding

Karma

Universe contracting

Now imagine that the Universe expands and contracts at the same time.

The wider the effect of an action the further it travels, the longer it takes to come back around.
Some karma is cycles back quickly. Some karma takes a long time to cycle back.

Events expand and contract and when they contract they come looking for you.


I have information that in about two years, beginning about the end of 2010 and the first of 2011, there will be a flu pandemic. This is the karmic debt for the bombs dropped on Japan. That was a really big deal with cosmic implications. It will have nationwide/worldwide effect.

Learn to protect yourself as best you can. This flu will be hunting Americans. If you can cover yourself with another identity - learn to do so.


From what I understand now about karma, I would prefer to allow myself to be killed by someone who was threatening me than to ever take another life.

3. How strongly do you identify as an American?

Is your pride wrapped up in being an American?

I had great pride in having a marriage that lasted for more than twenty years. Then it was all swept away. I learned a lot from that.

Can you feel yourself as Swiss or some other identity? Can you step out of the way of what is coming? Some may be able to do that. Some of us will not.

6. Very interesting. I've been thinking about this recently.

I definitely feel more of a sense of obligation to the world than to the US. It's not as though I don't feel like an American, but if I were forced to choose, I'd opt for choosing what is good for the world at large rather than what is best for the US if it hurt the rest of the world.

Maybe this really is becoming an issue.

2. How would that work if, for instance

you are in a new American body, but your previous incarnation just happened to end in Hiroshima with the dropping of the bomb? Would the flu pandemic pass over you?

Plus what about the great number of people killed by the Nazis? If you follow this line of reasoning, wouldn't Germany also be in line for a big flu hit?

I'm not trying to be smart or flippant, I'm geniunely curious, and would love to discuss.

I think it's good to discuss this also.

I don't necessarily know answers to what you have posed. I mostly was having a realization of how karma works. It appears to not be personal in some cases. Some is group karma.

Germany has been laid low at times, so I don't know how their karmic debt would play out. They may be in for the same pandemic. It feels to me this will be worldwide.


What would we have to learn from this?
Perhaps it has to do with dropping nationalism so we can move into understanding of our worldwide and universal relationships.

5. A "Brotherhood of Man" kind of thing?

That would be lovely, wouldn't it? It's something I've wished for most of my life. I've never understood that sort of nationalistic segregation. I know it's worldwide, but it's most prevalent in the US. This last administration has only intensified it (on purpose, I'm sure).
