Pluto (transit) conjunct Ascendant, relationship woes

So this seems like a very bad time to be even thinking about looking for a life-partner,
but then it also seems like I am deeply programmed to do just
that to the point where it feels like unhealthy obsession
(Sun conjunct Descendant, Mercury, Venus, South Node in 7th house)
when I like and am attracted to someone it is very difficult
for me to restrain myself from becoming intense and even obsessed sometimes.
I am so frustrated right now.

1. Pluto transits are hard

I just went through Pluto conjunct my moon. Pluto is slow moving so the affects last a long time.
I hope someone is able to jump in here and offer information to you about how to weather this transit.

some of your thoughts and/or experiences of Pluto conjunct Moon?

on the bright side I think it is partly this Pluto energy that
has helped me be free of cigarettes for five weeks now
(although I am not yet free of nicotine, but the actual habit of smoking
and the psychological addiction are well underway to being broken)
