I think the world around us is continually talking to us and showing us things. It's not anything mysterious or supernatural -- on the contrary, it's part of the natural blossoming of things. And to me, the "Miracle on the Hudson" plane event is an absolutely delightful bookending of 9/11. It's got a mysterious sort of symmetry -- a plane, in New York City, near the beginning of a presidential term. But instead of death and destruction we have this miraculous celebration of life. And so for this reason I'm amazingly comforted and encouraged by this event. Above and beyond a wonderful everyday occurrence, it has a sort of magical symmetry. Four days before the inauguration we are given this wonderful gift from the universe. Everything was truly in the right place to help those people survive. It's like a blessing. The old order is over -- here comes the new. :loveya:

I like the fact that our next president will be taking the flaming plane safely down in the water... how perfect is that ?
Our country is aflame, both engines out...and yet our "Pilot" is smart enough to glide along (using the plane's own momentum) to a splash down that was described by passengers as "no more than a speed bump"...AND Water is the universal symbol for transmutation and clarity...nice!

10. I am watching CNN right now

There is a segment on right now about the crash. Just heard that there was a pilot passenger who made sure that the person sitting next to him knew how to open the escape exit.

I think this is another amazing thing about the crash. I, too, once I heard that all the passengers survived, thought that this was an omen of the good things coming our way.

It is so wonderful to hear good news -- something we have not heard for quite some time (except, of course, the election results!).
