Can I ask ASHA for Good Vibes, Chants, Prayers or...... ?.?.?

Tomorrow we are going to find out if we get the job for a Texas Democratic Party website. This is not the overall TDP, but a major city. We could really make major inroads if we can land the job. It could possibly get us more major cities.

A little background. Over the summer the Tarrant Obama Organizers were wanting to redesign their website. I mentioned that I would like to be part of the conference call, as my hubby has been in the process of learning and building websites for communities to be able to communicate within in social networking environment. His first job in this field has been to build the site and he has worked on it for a few years, without much funding, but the company is a start up and it has been difficult finding the funding to get the business off the ground.

When the Tarrant Obama conference call took place I asked the team leader if she would include my hubby, which she did. The call went really well and then we had a person to person meeting.
So, over the summer Tarrant Obama got a whole new website which turned out to be an amazing experience. The website was set up for our districts to communicate directly with one another, there was a blogging function, events calendar where people could enter their data. All this was also done with no pay.

One of the Tarrant Obama organizers was a National Delegate and she upload pics from the convention floor using her iPhone!

Now we have the opportunity to actually make some money through our hard work and perseverance. It would be really nice if they told us what kind of money they have in their budget for this but they were not willing to do so. Alas we will have to offer them a bid and see if they will be willing to letting us do the work. It's real painful not knowing what they would be willing to spend, because I worrying that they might have more money in the budget for it but we low ball it and they get to benefit from our hard labor. Or if bid it to high and they reject the bid. Ah, it's nerve wracking.


Anyway, if ALL of you kind ASHA spirits could muster up some energy for us it would most certainly be appreciated.
