I'm seeking a way to calculate the astrological degree of a sign on a certain date

Don't tease but I was working on transcribing notes into my kitchen diary (which I do in ink and colored pencil, with illustrations where I can get away with it) and it occurred to me that I wanted to color a title of a particular dinner (6/15/08) according to its date...

I found this

which tells me that no matter what actual degree in Cancer 6/15/08 is, the color is RED

but I was also curious about the Sabian symbol because then I could also do an illustration. so that's why I was wondering how to calculate the astrological degree (or whatever that's called, please let me know if I'm wrong).

If you're curious I made a pork fried rice seasoned with mirin, meyer lemon, and of all things, homemade rosewater. So it was a weird fusion thing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I only listed ingredients (leftovers!) so I decided to flesh out the complete recipe to share with you all.

I found the info I was looking for: the dinner was at 25 Gemini (not Cancer - oops!) and the Sabian symbol is:

A gardener, with all the care of a mother for her child, tends a row of palm trees.

Fitting enough, for a leftover stirfry.

Next I start coordinating table settings to the Sabian Symbols...

It is a wonderful site and gives me more asteroids than I will ever know what to do with! I especially like that it places and lists aspects to the Galactic Center and the Great Attractor not that I know exactly what they mean yet in the natal chart.
