I posted this in another thread, but I was concerned that it might not be seen, so I decided to start my own thread to express my appreciation for the kindness shown me.

Being in this group gives me such hope for the world. I looked for a group like you for so long, and I was in awe when I finally found you; I was searching but really feared that you didn't exist. Every time one of you is gone for a while, I fear that you have gone for good. When you come back, I am so happy to see you. Thank you for your friendship and for being kindred spirits. It's not an accident that we have all come together here. The Universe uses this group in amazing ways!

I think 3littlebirds said it in the PCVI thread that she was no longer surrounded by people with whom she had anything in common. That's what I think we feel here in this group - our commonality; our soul connection with each other.

I heard an excerpt the other night from J.B. Priestly in his book, Delight. It struck me as to its relevance in my own life - but now I can see its meaning here too.

His story was about being in a room full of strangers, having nothing in common with a one, but all of a sudden, you glance across the crowded room and you see someone you know. It is with great joy that you make your way over to them, to be in their presence, to bask in being alone no more. That's what the individual souls in the ASAH forum are - our reconnection.
