I dreamed that the 'Revolution' had started!
Last night I dreamed that people filled the street and the police were out in force. I ran in the house, a bit shell shocked and frightened and my husband said to me, "This is the beginning. You have to be strong."

In the dream, people were coming up a road near to where I live in real life. There appeared to be a tense standoff halfway up the hill. The police were trying to stand their ground against the angry crowd.

This road, Barren Hill Rd, is famous because it is the road that General Lafayette marched down when he outwitted the British troops in 1778.

1. Do you think it was a prophetic dream?
Edited on Tue Jun-28-05 05:51 AM by Dover
It certainly does feel like the natives are getting restless and hungry.....and very angry.

While you dream it, others may be awakening at last. Viva la Revolution!

2. Yes, it did seem prophetic.

Interestingly, my mother lived on this road for many years and she had a friend who did readings once tell her that 'The people will come up from out of town'.

Funny, you just brought that memory back to me!

I was very young. But, my recollection is that she was referring to the masses coming up this road from the town below because of some sort of catastrophe. At the time, I assumed she meant as a result of earth changes. But, it could certainly have been a ref. to some sort of civil unrest.

3. You sure do have an interesting family!

When the people awaken, IF they awaken, I can imagine it being sudden (spontaneous) and volatile......hence your 'shock' in the dream perhaps.

It's so like Cancer (a Cancer nation) to be slow to anger, and then boom!, that trigger event happens and it's like a deluge of raw emotion! Grab the pitchforks!

4. Yes, you are right.
And, the main feeling I had in the dream was that of not being emotionally ready for the shock.

I suppose it is a reminder to practice acceptance in the truest sense of Zen philosophy!

5. My Mother's dream a few days ago...
She dreamt that several members of the family (who are scattered across the US at the moment) all moved to a farm to support each other and survive. That was the basic premise, but she said something that I thought of when you posted "You have to be strong". She said she felt (in the dream) that it was very important that those of us who have knowledge and strength be there to help others get through whatever is coming. Unfortunately, she doesn't remember what the 'situation' was that caused the National (World?) crisis.

6. How interesting that your mom had this dream several days
ago...given your signame!

More than 5 years ago, I asked a psychic about how best to get prepared for the earth changes and she said, "Well, you will go back to canning..."

I almost died when I heard this, because I think it is probably indicative of just how difficult things may become.

9. Canning is not that difficult; don't fear it.
Others (self and spouse included) are feeling that production of food is becoming necessary and have begun gardening. Get yourself a good, big, pressure canner and go with what the psychic told you.

:hi:

10. Hey dbt, I'm just a little lazy that's all!
I love to garden and would love to become totally self sufficient someday. I used to like to can, but it seems like a lot of work when I think of doing it now. BTW, what is a "pressure canner"??
I have never heard of this. Back in the 70's I just did it by hand.

I guess, the mention of canning made me realize just how scarce foodstuffs will become.

Hubbie and I used to have 27 chickens! That was quite a hoot...chasing them about the neighborhood when they got ran off!

We raised them in a pen in the basement! They were so sweet! We gave them all names.

I will never forget my children's sadness when they discovered one stormy night that "Susan B. Anthony" had not come back to the coup.
So, we set out in the rain, snow, and lightning to find their favorite chick...my son had his homemade dish device that magnifies sound so that he could track her down. Sure enough, she answered his calls and he picked it up! Once we got her we all slept soundly.

The kids had great fun selling the eggs! The Aurocunas (from Chile) laid green, blue and pink eggs!!

12. A pressure canner is just bigger and heavier-duty than
a pressure cooker. Got a lot of clamps around the lid and offers higher pressure for canning low-acid foods. Here's one you can look at.

21. A pressure canner and a water bath canner and the few utensils
Edited on Wed Jun-29-05 07:36 PM by Eloriel
that make the job easier -- like the large handled thingamabob that lets you lifet hot jars by their necks (leaving the bands and lids untouched). The very wide-mouthed funnel that helps you fill jars. And the JARS and extra lids and bands. And so forth. One or more good books, the softcover Ball book (has been blue), usually sold with canning jars and such, only about $5 is worth every penny and a MUST HAVE.

I've gone back to gardening and canning myself. Freezing (that's new for me and boy! how much easier than canning!) and I'm dehydrating too. Dehydrating some zucchini slices tonight, probably. You can eat them with dips or hummus as a snack.

24. I remember earlier this year
or late this year I had a flash and I saw a flash of someone running in a city and it was at night and someone was running away from someone and I could hear and feel them panting (not sure if it was me or not) and buildings were destroyed and everything. I don't know if this is in my future or someone else's.

7. Scary & Hopeful
I won't say I am looking forward to a time when people will take to the streets in anger but I recognize it as possibly being necessary. I can't think of any other way that would as effectively begin the needed transformation.

I've been around but was overloaded with work, which thankfully will continue, and then we went away for 5 days just to get away from the usual. A nice break for us.

8. I dreamed of an earthquake two nights ago.
Toyed with the idea of starting a thread about it, but it wasn't that big a deal. The only reason I even considered posting was that I have NEVER dreamed of an earthquake.

In the dream, I was outdoors, lounging on the ground (looked like Arkansas to me) when a small quake came. It appeared to last for a few seconds and was more of a vibration of the ground than any massive movement. The interesting thing about this dream was that I could see the energy of the quake as it ran along the ground. There was a "blur" (for lack of an accurate word) about four feet wide that ran from roughly southeast to northwest in my field of vision. It traveled at what looked like thirty miles an hour.

I don't know what connection this might have to your dream, Quakerfriend; I only post because it was SO out of character for me! Curiouser and curiouser...

As to what it actually means, I have never been able to tell!

18. Lol! Well if YOU don't know......
Reminds me of a stupid joke we would invariably tell when I and my siblings were kids, as my family drove through your fair state in our old Rambler station wagon on yet another vacation marathon.

My brother would play the role of the tourist: "Hey mister, where are we?"

Me...the hillbilly: "This Ar Kansas!"

That helped pass the time and was good for several encores, until we got to the next state.

14. I think many more who are intuitive such as you are will begin
to have such dreams and other types of revelations like visions and hunches in the months to come. I feel the change coming too. I haven't really felt whether it is for the better yet, but it seems to be heading in that direction.

There is more to our world than what we percieve from our five senses. Those of us who tune into the world outside of those senses will start seeing the signs and they will become clearer in time.

17. I dreamed I saw Joe Hill last night, alive as you or me......
Edited on Wed Jun-29-05 06:37 AM by Dover
Says I, but Joe you're ten years dead.
I never died said he.
I never died said he.

Okay, I got that one out of my system. It's been playing in my head since I saw the subject line of this thread.

22. We could have a revolution when 'Real ID' goes into full effect, 2008.
Lot's of people may not be allowed to exercise their right to vote because the paperwork is bogged down, trying to 'prove' they're American citizens. If the above scenario don't piss off the whole population, I don't know what will!
