I'm turning 45 next month and have been thinking of getting a professional reading done, just because.

I like to do that every few years, around my birthday.

Do you ever do that? :shrug: It's kinda cool to get a lay of the stars, so to speak.

An astrological reading, a tarot reading, or something like that. I didn't have a chance this year, and I really missed it.

2. I would really like to have one!

I've never had a real reading in my life. I have tried to study it on my own, but usually get stumped in the"houses" part, I don't know, maybe I don't have the right book. Know of any good readers? I'm only a month past my birthday.

8. I do not usually have readings then, but others do...

I try to advise people of their coming year, but I am not of the school that you can outrun your fate by spending your solar return in Katmandu or Amsterdam. The idea that you can outrun your fate if you have the ability to travel reeks of indulgences -- as if money could buy you some kind of grace. Bah! What nonsense. Fate can only be confronted by standing in one's own shoes, staying wherever one is at, and looking full on at what must be done in its red-eyed face.
