Yesterday I had an intuition about the 18 minute gap in the Nixon tapes

It occurred to me that technology had come far enough to determine exactly what was on the famous 18 minute gap on the tapes Nixon handed over to the special prosecutor. It also occurred to me that that information may already be present or will be soon for all to see. It also occurred to me that we will find that Oliver Stone was right when he speculated that the 18 minutes contained information that would unlock the key to the JFK assassination.

This occurred to me between 8:00 and about 8:15PM EDT Friday.

I have no idea why this occurred to me.

2. It was the strangest thing.

I was actually thinking about some infared technology or something like that recently announced that will allow the viewing of many pieces of classical Greek literature that had previously seemed to obscure to translate. Very odd. Then I thought to post it here but by the time I'd arrived home, I forgot the whole thing...until a few minutes ago.

Jackie O made a tape that was not to be opened until 75 years after her death, and I would bet she made accusations and names then. Nobody we know will be alive to hear it, I think, but I'm not that good at math....and by that time, who will care about what it meant to us?

On edit: unfortunately, everyone who was in that room or heard the tapes, Ehrlichman, Haldeman, and Nixon is dead.

Are Rosemary Woods and Jeb Magruder dead? She would have heard them and Magruder ran the tape system and probably heard them. I think Magruder is still alive - but probably afraid if he revealed it he'd end up dead like all the witnesses to JFK's murder.

Likely theory though.
The thing that puzzles me though is why include the 18 minutes at all.
Why not omit that whole section instead of handing in a piece of tape that can be showed to have been erased several times. The erasing was surely done by someone not too technically savvy.
This CNN article mentions the Kennedy assassination "Also on the tapes, then-Treasury Secretary John B. Connally Jr. recollects the assassination of President Kennedy. As for ever finding out what was there before the erasure there might be hope because the tape was supposedly erased on another machine than the one that recorded it.

4. They tried in 2001, but they "failed" to recover anything,

possibly because they weren/t allowed to touch the originals.

Perhaps our grandchildren will find out the truth, but don't hold your breath - I wouldn't put it past the cabal now in charge to destroy them.

That sounds like a smart policy to me. Technology will continue to improve so why risk the tapes now unless someone can prove they're able to do something without harming or destroying them?

7. I would love to know myself

I think it has to do with Kennedy too. It's pretty clear it's something bad if they were erased. He was probably drunk and talking and spilled beans but wasn't drunk enough to know he did it and not to do anything about it. I've been obsessed with the JFK case for years. I would have loved to prove it someday, but if someone else does then I'd be just as happy. I was thinking about changing my major in college to criminal justice just because of Kennedy.

I have a photo of Bush outside a police station talking to some police officers. And Nixon also made reference to something called Operation Zappata and Bush had an oil company down in southern Texas called Zappata (sp?). Didn't Bush leave just a couple of minutes before Kennedy arrived? I also think Johnson was in on it too.

If forensic experts can recover information from a hard drive that's been erased and rewritten multiple times, why not audio tape?

Intuition--an interesting speculation, where does it come from? How can people know when others who are out of their sight are staring at them?

I have no idea what will happen with this. I'm starting to see our rulers like the film "They Live" (lizard people who dominate us with mind control...haha). In my more rational moments, I reliaze there is no reason to underestimate the calumny of deviants of our species.

We'll see but I know it's "time" for the bright lights to shine on the dungeon full of lies we've been fed for so long.

15. I only hope so

I always refer to that awful day of Kennedy's death as the day America died and we all died that day. Even I did and I wasn't born. Know what I mean? Because this was no longer the America we knew.
