urine? I adopted a lovely cat recently who is temporarily an indoor cat. I put her litter-caked poop in the doggy dooley "septic" system. Is the urine-caked litter okay in the compost?

If you were going to put the finished compost around trees or ornamentals, it would be probably be ok. I would not put that in my compost that ends up in the food garden, though.
