Parsley is okay to the mid twenties. I'm trying to figure out how soon I can plant my chervil outdoors.

'Course this is Texas and we've had snow as late as mid March so there's no guarantee.

1. I've grown chervil in the north for years
As a perennial herb, it comes up on its own. It's very hardy, like parsley. But, with it being a new plant, I sure wouldn't put any extra stress on it. I think I'd wait awhile and even then, cover it until it takes hold.

2. Thanks, that's exactly what I'm lookin' for.
If it comes back every year even a new plant should survive a light freeze, like 31 degrees or so. I'll get them into the container (very large) and if it looks like a freeze I'll cover 'em.
