Anybody know anything about paw paw trees?
I can't eat raw bananas, what are the odds I wouldn't be able to eat paw paws? Also, do the flowers smell bad?

1. I don't know that much about them but you can buy them @ link
Be among the first to taste the delicious fruit some people call the “Michigan banana.” Its creamy texture is exquisite on the tongue, and the flavor is like eating sweet banana custard. Truly an amazing find of a “lost” fruit which you’ll never find in stores – just too delicate. One oval PawPaw can weigh a half pound, even more. Pyramidal shaped tree can be kept almost any height by pruning. Large dark green leaves grow to a foot long. Tolerates poor soils. Virtually pest-free. Hardy to 20° below zero. Very high protein (5%), vitamins A and C. Plant two for pollination. Plant 15 ft. apart. Shipped in pots, spring only.

Zones 4-8

Sorry, this item cannot be shipped to CA.

in MO. Fruit was tasty. Good luck on your search.....z
