Anyone else disappointed with the disappearance of spring?
It has been cold and rainy -- in the 50s most days here in New York. Then yesterday it was 85 and it's going to be 88 today.

What happened to that glorious string of 65-75 degree days that we used to call "spring"? They were very nice for gardening certain things.

1. It has been a long
very cool wet spring here in the midwest. I am doing the unthinkable, wishing it would stop raining. We finally finished the work we had to do before planting (it is getting late for some things here) and then it rained again and there are puddles in the garden. Arghhhh! It will be cool again this week with lots and lots of rain. :( I have one row of potatoes and 2 horseradish roots in, that is all. We finished in the rain yesterday with the fence and the lightning and thunder started so we had to stop there.

This is the first nice long spring we have had for several years. Hope it gets to you soon.
