Tomato problem, can you help?

My tomato plants are doing relatively well, almost 3 feet tall, and have fruit. The problem is, some of the leaves are curling upward and turning yellowish. I saw some small little fly looking bugs, and have sprayed twice, but no diff. Could this be a ph issue or maybe a vitamin deficiency?

3. Have you fed them and kept them watered?

It could be a nitrogen, potassium, zink, iron, or calcium deficiency, but the odds of that if you've fed them is very slim. Have they been being watered regularly but not enough to keep their feet wet? It could also be you have aphids, which cause similar damage on plants.

Some aphids have wings which are actually larger than their bodies which could be what you saw. I don't use chemicals but I was told that there are quite a few chemical resistant aphids out there now days, which may explain why they've not been bothered by your spraying. My other guess would be spider mites. Nasty vermin. You can't really see them with your bare eyes, but if you put a piece of white paper under the leaves and then tap the leaves they look like dirt flecks falling onto the paper. I think they make miticides for them if that ends up being your culprit.

4. Sounds like white flies...get some ladybugs...fast!...
