2. Good looking beets!! (or are those radishes?)

Mine didn't come up. :( Not sure why. Oh well. I'm getting about 4-5 ripe romas every day now & it looks like the black-eyed peas will be ready in a couple of days. The corn is also tasseling, so I need to find out when I'm supposed to pick that. Oh & I pulled out all the potatoes in the ground the other day because the weather is way too hot. Still have 6 going in the pots though. :)

4. Radishes. The carrots didn't work.

I planted them between the red radishes and the white icicle variety. Only the pink radishes worked.
The guys spent the afternoon pickling 20 jars of jalepenos and sweet and hot banana peppers! Whew!
