Transplanting question
Sometimes I buy my plants from the farmer's market/greenhouse in starter containers.

When I put them where they are going to grow, I usually just dig a hole and place the contents of container into hole then cover and water. Voila!

Well, someone heard I was playing hard with gardening and passed me several Opalaka and Principe Borghese starter plants.

The thing is...

There are like 3-5 in each section of container. I don't want to kill them, so I'm afraid to simply pull them apart and plant individually. Am I overthinking?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

1. pull them apart and plant individually.
If they are planted together, odds are that they can be separated pretty easily. :)

3. Ok, will do
When it stops freaking raining. I love the rain, but it's been a misty mountain for about a month.

Thanks.

2. If the roots are substantially entwined, you can cut them into individual plugs
with an exacto type knife or other sharp edge.

I think they will be. I'll hunt down my exacto.

Thanks.
