The veggie house.
I drive through what some would coin the "bad side of town" on my way to work every day. I took a slight detour yesterday to get to a grocery store while avoiding traffic. I passed a small house, built in the '40's for returning soldiers and their families. It has been kept up and is in good shape compared to the neighbors. Instead of the usual flowers on each side of the raised porch, there were squash vines weaving around from the porch to the sides of the house. I could see part of the backyard and it was like a veggie jungle teeming with plants of all description.

I will try and drive that way again this week and get pictures. It was truly amazing.

3. Oops
Should of said AND the story of the people who live there. Just wondering if they are an older couple who have lived there for decades, or a young family with a lot of mouths to feed.

6. I will find out.
I have been known to knock on doors and ask what kind of flower, tree or herb is growing in the front yard. I have gained many wonderful friendships and plants that way.
