Edited to add: This is one problem with buying plants from large national chains like WalMart, Lowe's, etc. instead of from small local growers. This may have started in the NE but because these people buy and ship plants everywhere, problems like this can become widespread very quickly and affect areas that might have otherwise been exempt.

I read your post and link with great interest, although I didn't reply. I have been researching tomato blight like a maniac for the past three days. We got it-- now I'm trying to do damage control.
