I caught the Groundhog again. (with pics)
I took him 15 miles away this time. I hope this is the end of
the groundhog saga.

1. Time to make friends with that groundhog.
Isn't this at least the 3rd time you've caught it? Determined little bugger, isn't it?

2. I like the little guy but he eats my garden.
Only the second time I've caught him. He is now in the next county and across two rivers at a
park.....so no hunting or trapping. If he comes back
I'm gonna admit defeat and move.

3. If he comes back, you'll have to plant a garden for him, too!
I had a problem with squirrels eating my birdseed, so I finally gave up and fixed a feeder for them. Worked like a charm. I have 6 of the little heathens, plus 5 feral cats. There were 6 ferals, but one of them moved in with me. Just walked in the door with my cats and dogs, so I guess he wasn't feral at all. I named him Ripley, as in, believe it or not, there's another cat in this house!

8. I love it when cats do that
I had one just saunter in as if she owned the joint after putting up with being fed outside for a few days. She waltzed right in & jumped on the couch as if she'd always done that. I was laughing too hard to stop her. She was a great cat & I still miss her.

5. Sunflower seeds.
Shelled and lightly salted. Both times. Good luck.

I made a path from outside the trap, through the trap across the trip bar.

7. Good luck!
Hi,
Wow, he does not look too happy in that picture. I have to deal with bunnies and I am not sure what hitting most of my stuff hard in the spring. Oddly enough the lettuce I planted in the ground did not get touched, just half my sunflowers got munched on before they were 6 inches tall.

Peace
