She really needed a new outfit. Her old one was really faded by the sun. She works hard gaurding the crops and holding those windchimes, so deserves a little treat.

I wasn't thinking I'd win the Photo Contest so I wasn't really concerned with running the contest this month. Now if I had really, really wanted to win, I wouldn't have. I'm soliciting ideas over there at the moment. Throw your two cents in.

5. "What's hanging on the front..."

It is a little wooden sign that says, "Welcome".

It was left in the garden from last year, and fit nicely on that little button, so there it hangs.

I inadvertently used "washable" colors on the scarecrow's face.
After the 1st rain, it gave the scarecrow a nice Night of the Living Dead look, but now the face is all washed away. :(

I didn't notice before this thread, but No Name for the scarecrow this year.
Maybe that was the last part of building the scarecrow that was neglected by the builder this year?
I'll go out to the garden tonight and ask him his name.
You got to do that stuff after dark.
