1. It's just plain brutal in upstate NY.

My potatoes are fine and the tomato volunteers that came up from
the compost are fine, but the tomatoes in the sq foot garden are
nearly bare of leaves. I wait all year for a good tomato and now this.

2. Mine were doing very well until we started getting 100+ temps

every damn day for 3 months. Now my garden is "extra crispy." :cry:

I've been trying to provide shade and extra water but I'm afraid it's a losing battle.
