we're looking at leaf blowers..need advice.

I say get a gas one and he says electric. Has anyone had both and can give me a heads-up about which would be better? We have a large yard--an acre so we'd need a long extension cord!

We've never had a blower before, but had an electric chain saw which burned out in no time flat, where our gas one has lasted for years. Same story here?

1. I own 1 of each.... By far, I prefer the electric one

In fact, I'm now on my second electric one (I use 'em a lot, I have 5 acres and over 200 trees, garden, etc)
