Here in East Texas we've had freezing weather all week. I have my bulbs on the patio in their mesh sacks. We put plants and a space heater out there. If it's freezing outside, the space heater keeps the room at about 45 degrees so I figure that's good.
Any opinions?

1. That sounds about right. |

Isn't it standard operating procedure to precool bulbs in the refrigerator in the South, anyway?
You can also buy precooled bulbs for forcing, hyacinths for sure, and I believe sometimes narcissus and tulips as well.
Should work.
