|
except perhaps a tomato off the vine with a bit of olive oil, some fresh ground pepper, and a splash of salt

11. How about an orange off the tree outside your bedroom window |
|
. . .
I live in Northern Ontario now, but I lived in San Diego for 14 months - 79-80
One place had an orange tree right outside the bedroom window
talk about YUMMM!
I had a greenhouse up here 2 summers ago - and yes
picking a wee cherry tomatoe off the vine and eating it right away was a delicious experience.

12. I live in Florida - so oranges right off the tree are common |
|
and grapefruit.
Never cared much for grapefruit until I moved here and tasted fresh ones.

8. Bah - I'm not expecting mine until September |
|
My seedlings have just started poking their little leaves up, and if this year is like the past few, no matter when I put them in they don't get around to setting fruit until the morning fog leaves - in the fall.

10. has the ground thawed yet? |
|
my daughter's boyfriend is from there - and his last message was that you were expecting snow flurries.
Last week I think.
