Companion Plants ~ Insect-Repellent Plants ~ Beneficial Insects

1. I found a borage plant at an organic garden shop
Maybe you could find one in your area. The gardener at the greenhouse did say that although borage is an annual it seeds very nicely so it will have seeds next year.

2. I actually was finally able to get my hands on some seeds thanks to a nice lady
who manages the garden at a local historic site. Someone at the local garden center said she might have some and when I called, she offered them to me at no charge. Free seeds = :).

And she told me the leaves are edible and taste like cucumber, so double-:).

4. Apparently the flowers are edible too:

And the stems are the flavoring for Pimms, who knew?

5. I would Google it before eating the leaves. I think there is
a limit as to how much of it and how often you can eat it.
