1. Has it been unseasonably hot where you are?

Extreme daytime heat (or hot winds) and/or extra warm nights (over 70 degrees) can stop fruiting.

We had roasting hot temps here for several weeks and now we have settled down to more seasonable high 80's during the day and mid-sixties at night. Some of my peppers dealt with the heat here better than others. The Anaheim seems unfazed, the Socrates is doing okay and the Poblano is starting to make more flowers after a period of dormancy. My Yellow Bell is struggling-- it made two nice peppers (one of which the grasshoppers ate), but hasn't done much since that. I did notice that after the latest milk bath it started making new branches, so hoping it will be back on track soon.
