I just dug my redskin potatoes yesterday .... yum!

Fresh dug 'taters are awesome! I planted them late ... about July 15th from some that
had sprouted in the fridge and they didn't get quite enough sun but still I got about
50 golf ball sized spuds ..... I washed about 10 and fried them in my cast iron skillet
w/ olive oil, garlic, and sea salt ...... I just kind of rolled them around for about 10
minutes w/ medium heat.



we had them w/ a little riesling (Blue Moon) they were like candy

Now why has nobody told me about fresh dug potatoes before? .... cause
next year I am gonna grew 100 million pounds.

3. Digging potatoes one of the funnest things ever!

Did it, 25+ years ago, when folks had large garden at Vermont summer place. Not just fun to harvest (like, 'Surprise! Look what I found!) but utterly delicious!
