Need Help ID'ing two plants. TKS
This one was at John Hunt Morgan's home.



This was nearby.

1. No. 2 is easy --- crepe myrtle seed pods, somewhat immature.

No. 1, though, I'm not sure which plant you want ID on -- there are several things in the photo. The large seed pods/berries in the center of the photo don't seem to go with the Solomon's Seal type foliage in the upper left. And below, there is a compound leaf along the lines of a Rodgersia or perhaps something related to/in the Aralia family like wild sarsaparilla.

3. Well, actually, it looks like some kind of Buckeye.
Here are some google images of them. Related to Horse Chestnuts, but generally much smaller stature, shrubs or small trees.
