so I can deal with them. The appear to be a tiny beetle type bug that will fit through one seed width of the berry. They are black and shiny with a yellowish band across their middle. When you pick the berry off the stem, there will be a bunch of under the berry and on the nub? of the plant where the berry attaches. It's not clear to me that they are actually eating the berries themselves though. I'm kinda wondering if they are eating some other critter that is smaller. Any assistance appreciated.

My sister lives near Cedar Rapids. I went out to pick raspberries at her house on the 4th of July and there were literally hundreds, if not thousands of them in the berry patch. Disgusting creatures.
