Welcome to my garden
Here is my 3 sisters planting. 3 sisters is a Native American companion planting of corn, pole beans and squash. The beans use the corn for support while supplying nitrogen to the corn. The squash is to keep the ground cool with its umbrella shaped leaves.

Here is my acorn squash:

2. We planted spaghetti squash in amongst the corn
...and it all looks very lush. The squash is climbing the corn and overrunning the third block of corn we planted. I have had to pull the squash runners off the corn and set it back down on the ground. A book on organic gardening said the squash leaves will keep the soil from drying out and keep the weeds down. It works. I must admit, I could not figure out how to do "companion planting" this year, so we just stuck with compatible plants.

Love your garden. Looks like you are doing raised beds also.

4. wow
Nice, neat. Lovely setting.

If I were to grow corn, I'd have to put something over the top, too. Raccoons!

5. I grew 3 sisters last year
this year i grew everything separately. The beans tended to pull the corn over. Beautiful garden though? Where are you? My acorn squash hasn't fruited yet, but then I didn't plant them until all my spring stuff was out.

6. I am in Muskogee Oklahoma and I
got my garden in very late because I built the beds where the acorn squash is this spring. Then it didn't rain forever so I have had to water constantly.
