I just put in the prettiest little chrysanthemum.
I'm not a huge mum fan and consider them lazy gardening. But I found this little round bronze to the red end of the spectrum mum called "Fiery Barbara". It is a small pompom with a very small bright yellow center. Flower is very reminiscent of a little dahlia and it actually has a sweet perfume to it, not the weedy marigoldy smell of most mums. Nice proportional mix of foliage to flowers. I've been trying to find a decent picture of it to post for you but this is the closest I can get and it doesn't really do the colors justice.

1. Very pretty
I just picked up a few of the cheap mums at Lowes and put them in some pots. They're actually pretty nice for the price. If they don't make it through the winter its no big deal. They really brighten up the place for fall.
