This past spring, a rabbit or squirrel ate the top (the flower part)

off of an asiatic lilly I planted. Will the flower ever come back?

1. Yup, sure will, especially if lots of leaves were left...

...in which case it'll bloom next year if the danged critters don't dig down and chow the bulb.

If they really munched it off short leaving very little leafage, it might need next year to recover, in which case it'll send up a leaf stalk with immature flower bulbs that may or may not bloom, and it'll bloom next year. Asiatic lilies are tougher than they look!

2. Probably a rabbit

I've never had squirrels eat mine. I had a deer eat all the flowers off of my favorite lily a couple of years ago. They had to reach over a fence to get to it. Now I spray with repellent. There are repellents for rabbits also, so you may want to try that next spring. It should come back just fine.

again? Aside from putting lots of rabbit food out, so the rabbit is stuffed?

No, the only reliable deterrent I know for bunnies is a bunny-chasing dog. Sorry.

6. Try planting a crown imperial bulb near them..

Fritillaria imperialis at www.brecks.com they are listed at 24$.. They are not cheap, so look around... The bulb gives off an obnoxious scent so critters stay away. I have three of them in my tulip, crocus garden and all my bulbs and flowers were safe last spring.

The flowers have no scent, and once the bulb is planted you can't smell it..Plus they are pretty...:)
