The photos are of the JACKED UP CULVERTS that that idiot left us with,(and yes, they're still sitting on our property). The first 6 photos are of the graded ut streambed and these were taken BEFORE the rain really started coming down. I'm afraid to see what the situation is now with the inevitable erosion.
The next 6 are of the culvert pipes that had to be removed from the ditch and the really mangled one is the one that collapsed under the truck of the contractor that we hired to repair this disaster. The wood blocks were actually inside the culvert, WHILE IT WAS IN THE PLACE TO KEEP THEM OPEN, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!! These are the same blocks that were in the culvert and they were actually cut and placed inside the culvert. This is what we found when we drove up to the property after the first contractor lied and pussy footed around. The 2nd to last photo is what was installed CORRECTLY after ward and the last photo is of the me and the "kid" next door, Schookie. He seems determined to adopt me and Himself..He's a Sweet Kid... LOL!!

1. sad culverts. :( I hate when that happens. Which is more than once
in a while. You live in the sticks. Nice area. Looks like Eastern Oregon out of Madras after about mid summer. :)

3. Yowch!!!
Looks like your land recovers from scarification about as well as ours does (centuries, maybe. IF the rain is cooperative AND we can get buffalo to run over it a few times a year.). I am really sorry about the first culverts and I hope that your case goes well. The new one looks about right.

4. The way that this looks isn't really indicative of what it appears

the rest of the year. Usually, there'd be early wildflowers but there was no real rain by the time these photos were taken. I planted native grasses and wildflower seeds with the idea of covering the naked surfaces. I haven't been up to the property since early february but will be going tomorrow to see how much more erosion 'has taken place. I spoke to the contractor's licencing board agent today who actually told me that due to the obvious and somewhat intentional damage done to my property taken in hand with the response,(or the lact thereof) to requests for information and explanations from this idiot, he just needs us to tidy up the amount of money that he needs to cough up to repair this damage. Where is your property?

BTW, we found out from a neighbor that this mess was actually done by another contractor who is known for shoddy work. The neighbor knows this other contractor and actually walked over to speak to the guy. It gets funnier and crazier by the day.
