My girlfriend is going to be laid over at JFK for several hours and really wanted to take in one of the botanical gardens. She doesn't know which one is best, or how to get there. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I posted in the NY group too.
I'm thinking that if she's at JFK that the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens would also be the closest and easiest to get to. Not sure exactly how far they are from there.
She'll be there in early April, so I don't know how much would be in bloom. But it beats sitting in the airport for hours and hours!
