Ever hear of TerraCycle plant food?
I got a huge kick out of this story:

http://www.suedbyscotts.com/

I definitely want to see the worm poop guy kick Miracle-Gro's ass in court!

:D

1. I've used the worm poop on container plants.
Works very, very well. I love the stuff. I use it to do light fertilizing in the soil for my seedlings each spring as well. Great stuff.

2. I have no doubt.
Now that I have a place to do some container gardening, I also want to start a worm farm, producing my own "worm poop" for myself and neighbors.

That Miracle-Gro is actually suing TerraCycle is, I think, both hilarious and unconscionable, and I'll be following the case as it moves forward.

3. I never used Miracle-Gro, personally,
though I know a lot of folks do.

I just find it obscene, somehow, to grow 10" diameter tomatoes, LOL. I would rather have a 2" one that tastes GOOD. :-)

4. Ditto that!
The first tomatoes I've tried growing in about 30 years are now 3-inch seedlings and I can't wait to see how they turn out!

:bounce:

6. Best to you...
my seedlings died, but it wasn't their fault. I just don't have the right setup for them at the moment. That's why I love DU Gardening Forum, though - I'm excited to hear how good yours do!

I'll have to buy plants, but luckily I have a great grower nearby who does the heirloom/organic thing so I just pick hers up. That said, one day I will start better tomatoes from seed! I am determined. :-)

Best to you and let me know how they turn out!

7. WORM POOP ROCKS.
LOL, flying_wahini: I just needed to put that in a subject line. Hope you don't mind me piggybacking your post. ;-)
