1. I re-sized and lightened it up
I really wanted to see your front yard but the picture was too dark. I sized it to 400 px and lightened it. Here it is, and a very pretty front yard it is:

5. bh, do you have any lawn at all?
I ask because I am currently enthralled with front lawns that have been converted to plants. There are a number in my community and there are also some new books out on how to do that.

I got rid of my front lawn a long time ago, although it doesn't really matter for esthetic purposes 'cuz I don't live on a street.

6. only some yard
I have a corner lot...

my "front yard" has large meandering paths...good enough to play bocce or perhaps croquet but nothing big enough to play soccer.
we also have a rather large patio...

the landscaping was done to keep my kids off the road and give us some privacy...

3. Beautiful!
Isn't gardening wonderful? I find it very soothing to just putter around in the flower beds after a long day at work.

8. I thought you were somewhere up there.
I grew up in Maryland and your neighborhood reminded me of my hometown.
What you've done in your front yard is what I'm trying to accomplish in my Texas backyard.
