Broccoli Rabe Question
I'm growing broccoli rabe for the first time. The plants seem to be growing okay, but the shoots they're sending out are really spindly. I've been pinching them back, trying to get more shoots to appear all at once. Am I just being impatient? I planted the seeds about a month ago. I only started about 20 plants, but at the rate they're putting out edible shoots maybe I should have doubled that in order to get enough for a meal. Thoughts??
