Should I pick these tomatoes?
One of my 4 tomato plants has not been thriving. It started getting tomatoes before the other three, but it has not grown any taller since, and the tomatoes have not gotten any bigger or started to ripen in at least 2 weeks. Should I pick off these tomatoes so maybe the plant will put it's energy into growing bigger and healthier? The tomatoes are light green on top, and the bottoms are almost white. Do you think they might ripen on the windowsill, or if I do pick them, should I just toss them in the compost bin?

1. They'll ripen in a window, I'd pick them.
Just me but that's what I'd do.

2. You might want to consider starting a new seedling.
If a single plant is doing poorly is a bed with other healthy plants, it may just be a bad plant.
Occasionally, some plants just don't do well.

If all other things are equal (sunlight, soil, variety, etc.), it may be more productive to replace it.
I noticed there were still seedlings available at our stores, and there is still plenty of tomato season left.

One consideration, will the other healthy plants block available sun from the new seedling?

I'm no expert, just offering an option.
Good Luck.

5. I have some seedlings I just sprouted last week.
I was planning ahead for the second round. If that one doesn't start thriving after I pick off the tomatoes, I'll just go on and pull it and plant a nnew one there. And yes, all other things have been equal, and that plant is on the sunny side, so it hasn't been blocked from the sun, and the seedlings would get plenty of sun there too.

Thanks for the input :)

3. Your tomato plants look exactly like mine.
My cherry tomatoes are going crazy.

But my regular tomato plant looks like yours in the left picture.
Mine are yellow tomatoes and I have 2 nice size ones that are real green on top but
lite green on the bottom. Watching them daily.

Got to pick some yummy cherry tomatoes. I had a few that actually ripened.

6. My cherry tomatoes are doing great, and I also have two other
tomato plant to the right of the ones in the pic that are growing like gangbusters! It's just that one that never seemed to take off. I have eaten TWO cherry tomatoes so far! I have 2 bunches I am waiting to ripen, and several new bunches of blossoms.
