Squash advice?
I'll take a pic later -- can't find my phone at the moment -- but I have a problem with my fruit on my squash. Some of the fruits don't look god -- They are looking dried and shriveled up and they have just dropped off the plant.

Maybe just not enough water? I have not been watering every day, maybe I should.

1. My guess would be poor pollination

I've had that happen in the past and I helped them out by playing bee taking a Q-tip and going from male to female flower. I suggest you try some hand pollination and see if that helps them to set fruit and hold them.

If the foliage looks good I doubt it's a lack of water, which usually shows up in the foliage first as wilting then crisping. With your watering them every other day does the top of the soil begin to dry out a bit? Sometimes too much water will also lead to them dropping their fruits prematurely. I had it happen to mine last year when it rained and rained and rained in July here. They grew tons of foliage (they were HUGE) and ditched all their fruits. It was as if they saw no reason to fruit and create future generations if they had it so good. :P
