We take some solace in the knowledge that he really, really loved it here.
He was the master of this domain.

MaggiePie is doing OK. She misses Bug too. She has spontaneously adopted some behaviors that were exclusively Bug's before his death.
Mr. Bug used to watch the sunsets from a particular spot on our hilltop.
MaggiePie never paid any attention to the sunsets, but now she sits in the same spot, and watches the sunsets. It sorta touches our hearts, and we hold her a little closer.

It has been about 7 weeks since we lost Bug, and the pain is less acute. It took about 6 weeks before I could look at his pictures or put up the post in the Pets Forum.

8. Green with envy

It is my life's quest to one day grow a decent cantaloupe. Haven't succeeded yet. I don't know why, I just can't see to get them to grow.
