Casting Asparagus..I do mean it literally.....
Woman predicts future with asparagus
Last Updated: 1:51pm GMT 12/03/2008

A woman from Worcestershire has been using asparagus to predict the future.

Jemima Packington who likes to call herself the UK's only "asparamancer" has been testing out her technique at the British Trade and Travel Fair at Birmingham
She throws the stalks on the floor and makes a prediction depending on how they land.

1. They'd work for the I Ching
but the replacement cost would make it impractical in the off season.

3. I think Rush may have had a song back in the 70s about an asparamancer.
They were so ahead of their time.

5. Woo hoo!
Except that the song was called Necromancer. I think they meant asparamancer, but it got misprinted.
