Weird theory on why women are infertile....

My coworker told us at lunch today that her husband read on some blog that some dude thinks the reason why so many women are infertile is cause of...sodomy!! That because semen is going where its not supposed to antibodies are formed and cause a reaction and that causes the body to wipe out any sperm, therefore rendering a woman infertile.....Uhhhh...I don't think so! In theory perhaps if you had Lupus and practiced sodomy maybe..We had a good laugh at this. Love teh internets.
Anyone heard this one? If she remembers the blog, I'll post it. Could be interesting reading..:wow: :freak: :crazy:

of course she's not going to get preggers. I doubt if that can be called infertility, though.

As for an immune response, nah, not going to happen. Our bodies are designed to prevent it.

4. I've heard something similar

I once saw something from a nutjob who claimed that the barrier method of contraception and also vasectomy is the reason that women are getting cervical cancer at the rate they do. His assertion is that women need to be exposed to active sperm, which protects us from cancer. (Insert eyeroll here.)

I wonder how long that worked for him as an excuse not to rubber up, and not to get the vasectomy?

I guess most women with PCOS are engaging in sodomy? Funny, I've only though about any kind of sex a couple times in the last 8 years.
