to be honest, it can be hard to remember which board I'm on, and what is considered acceptable where. It's tempting to call people fucking morons in some DU threads, but alas ;)

They ARE fucking morons.

Just sharing your frustration. I'm of the firm opinion that some posters should just be permanently banned from some DU fora. These people are natural disrupters, and keep popping up over and over again, shoveling their crazy BS into threads where others are trying to have a rational discussion.

Any lurking loons who feel like asking for examples, save your fingers and go find them yourself. I'm also tired of doing free research for fucking morons.

5. i don't neccessarily

think they should be BANNED, but I just wish we had slightly more leeway in the personal insult department. On the other hand, that would open up even more vicious flame wars so i dunno :shrug:

I just think that sometimes it reaches a point where one needs to hear everyone else call you an idiot. Maybe that will help crack through the rose glasses where one's pet theory is concerned

7. the other reason i like it

is that it costs 10 dollars to join. It won't keep the average moron out, but it stops the aggressively stupid ones for the most part, and reduces trolling.

It's kind of a wild board, where it's best to lurk for a LONG time before you post. I've been there for 4 years, and only have around 20 posts. But there's a hell of a lot of funny stuff to read.

And I swear I don't work for them :evilgrin:
