1. Please--give her breasts a chance to speak
Surely her extensive clinical qualifications are the primary reason that she's being given a soapbox on this subject, right?

In addition to spewing the standard anti-vax line, she's also a big proponent of autism-management-via-dietary-adjustment, for which AFAIK there is limited and anecdotal evidence. Dairy, of course, is the chief villain in this scenario.

2. Yeah she went on to say that there were supplements that help
"even though there is limited scientific evidence to support it. But my child is cured..". Why doesn't she just say its a miracle..God cured the autism. Fucking moran.

3. When I was on vacation
my cousin's current BF and youngest kids dad said to ask the pediatrician if (s)he vaccinated her own kids because they are 'bad for you'. (Note about guy- he refuses to get a job, just apparently gets a woman pregnant, lives with her as long as he can while smoking pot and when she's tired of him and kicks him out repeat cycle. He's got about 5 kids by 5 women.) This was a family gathering so I didn't want to go crazy but I did immediately mention the recent measles outbreaks starting at churches that don't vaccinate winding up in those kids schools infecting kids whose parents refused to vaccinate. Too bad this asshole never shows up to our family events so I could discuss science with him.

Here's my vision of that conversation:

Me: What sever side effects do you believe vaccines routinely cause that are not being made public?
Him: Well I saw this woman who was in a magazine on TV and she said it was true. She was hot and stuff.
