Nice how the term "lenticular" didn't appear once, although "inexplicable" did!

Though I have to admit the first time I saw lenticular clouds I did go "WTF?".But I sure is hell didn't mistake them for a UFO.

4. Meanwhile, people in GD are mistaking a bird for a UFO during the inauguration.

It's clearly a bird, but there's claims it passes behind the Washington Monument when it obviously passes in front, etc. A good demonstration of the willingness to overlook details when the bias is to believe it is something strange and unusual instead of commonplace.

Considering ALL THE GODDAMN AIR TRAFFIC circling the Mall yesterday, I highly doubt ANYTHING unidentifyible was going to get anywhere near the airspace without SERIOUS trouble.

Had a friend show me a video of them once. It was difficult to keep my skeptical 7 yr old quiet, esp when we got to the part where the black helicopter turned into the mother ship and even more difficult when that flock of geese were called some sort of ufoish thing.
